Old Clark Inn
TWO-WHEEL FRIENDLY LODGING IN THE HEART OF THE MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST

BICYCLE
Located one block from the Greenbrier River Trail in downtown Marlinton and 3-miles from the Monday Lick Trail System, the Old Clark Inn is conveniently located for your bicycle excursion. The inn is walking distance from restaurants and stores, so you don't need to worry about transportation after settling in.
In addition to solo and individual riders, we also host bicycle clubs, groups and tour companies, offering special discounts and meal plans. To find out more, visit Group & Tours.

For guests interested in riding the GRT in shorter segments, we recommend staying here at the inn as your base camp. Marlinton is the only town along the entire 78-mile GRT with accommodations. Most guests looking for a leisurely trail ride break it down into 2-3 segments.

If mountain biking is more your game, you're at the right place. The new Monday Lick Trail System is just 3-miles away and the Snowshoe Highlands Ride Center is 22-miles north.
________________
After your ride, you can get cleaned up in our outdoor shower and wash down your bike before parking it in our secure and covered pavilion with electric outlets for charging eBikes. The Old Clark Inn is your absolute best choice for bicycle friendly lodging.
MOTORCYCLE
The Old Clark Inn is the perfect home base for your next motorcycle adventure. Pocahontas County and the surrounding Monongahela National Forest are a haven for motorcyclists, with hundreds of miles of well maintained curvy mountain roads, steep grades and scenic views without the traffic and congestion of other popular riding areas in the Appalachian Mountains.
______________
We provide riders with clean rags to wipe your bikes down, an air compressor, tools upon request and secure lighted parking area. At the end of the day, you can park your bike and walk to nearby restaurants and shops, or enjoy some beverages by the firepit.

Traveling in a group? We got you covered! The Old Clark Inn is perfect for groups with guests that want their own room and private bathroom, yet plenty of comfortable common areas for gatherings. SKI & SNOW
During the winter, the surrounding snow covered mountains become a playground for skiers, snowboarders and snowshoe hikers alike. Conveniently located just 22-miles from Snowshoe Resort, we offer a more peaceful experience for a fraction of the cost at the resort.
